A Humanist wedding is a fantastic way to celebrate your wedding, your way: without religion, but with plenty of meaning.
This was the awesome wedding of Tami & Jason that I had the privilege to conduct in 2018.
The strongest way that we can express our endorsement for Humanist weddings and our sincere belief that they create a perfect occasion in which to celebrate is by pointing to our own wedding in the late spring of 2016. Our wedding illustrates one of the key selling points of Humanist weddings: the fact that they can be truly unique, personal, and exactly the way that you want them to be.
Our wedding had a Rock ‘n’ Roll Steampunk Circus theme. Not only were we, and all our guests, all decked out in stylised outfits, but we made our entrance on a trapeze, we held our ceremony on a stage at an awesome venue and included live music, cinema, fire performers and a whole range of personalised elements throughout. Part of the wedding vows were delivered in the form of a PowerPoint presentation (a tongue-in-cheek nod to the Bride’s business background), complete with pie charts and an agenda!
It really could not have been any more personal to us; and this trait rings true at all Humanist ceremonies.
With the benefit of experience, as well as the support and resources provided from Humanists UK, we are able to help guide and support you in putting together a truly personal and unique ceremony just for you and your partner. We look forward to hearing your story, finding out what marriage means to you, what you feel are the important elements of a fantastic ceremony, and working all of these strands together to make a perfect occasion.
